Black Military Excellence

Many Black people have served in the U.S. military. Often times they did so in an environment of discrimination. Nine out of ten Black individuals who died in the Civil War died from health consequence because of discriminatory access to medical supplies and resources. The greatness of this country has been built on the backs and legacies of Black service-people. For this reason, we honor the sacrifices made by Black veterans and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for this country to be where it is. To our Black military personnel, we salute you!
