Operation Ally

One Humanity, One Community

Operation Ally focuses on engaging allies in the movement for change and empowerment for all. We are framing the problem, strategizing solutions, organizing our actions, and mobilizing to enact change.  There is a difference between allyship and false generosity.  False generosity is the concept of wanting to give, but not wanting to change the reasons that there is a need to give. If people were not in need, you would not need to give. Addressing the root cause of the need is more effective than feeding the need. Allyship is about dismantling the injustices that leave people in need by taking a collective, comprehensive approach to policy change.

The truth is, we are all allies in each other’s journey. Injustices reside everywhere. Class, race, sex, gender, age, ability, religion, ideology, and many other legal aspects of our identities are treated unjustly. We all have an equal and unequivocal right to our authentic existence. We all have a right to pursue happiness that doesn’t interfere with the personal happiness of others. We all have a right to life and liberty as free, self-governing individuals. It is the fundamental tenet of the identity of the United States of America. These are truths we hold to be self-evident. We all have a right to these truths. We all have a right to allyship.

Operation Ally

A community education series on the hard and complicated work of allyship. Visit us on youtube for the entire Operation Ally series.

Everything presented in Operation Ally has been researched and fact-checked. White supremacy is real. The resulting systemic racism is real. If people are genuinely interested in change, then there is a place for them in this movement.

A Factual Look At Race

Allyship requires the bravery to make change, the persistence to see it through, the stubbornness to not be deterred. The social justice mission is a people mission. We aren’t talking about justice unless we are talking about bettering the living conditions of the marginalized.

A Stand for Justice

If not here, where?

If not now, when?

If not you, who?

If not for the future, why?

The time for change is now.
