The Culinary Institute at the Center for Black Culture & Excellence is designed to teach, train, and elevate culinary arts in the Black community. Black cuisine has a way of warming the heart and engaging the palate in a way that makes you feel at home. The creativity and innovation of the Black community is a talent far under-emphasized, yet, food changes the world. Our culinary institute seeks to introduce the technical skills of the culinary profession to the creativity and innovation of the Black community.

Soul Food
We aspire to educate, train, and empower culinary professionals to reach the highest levels of the culinary industry. We further aspire to assist chefs in the community with achieving the highest of culinary honors, including the Michelin Star.
